Doctor Who 4x07 - The Unicorn and the Wasp
Aww, now I'm all caught up. And at this rate, I'll be done with the series before Torchwood arrives.
That said, LOVED IT.
Agatha Christie! I think this is the best author appearance of the new series, and Dickens and Shakespeare are both hard to top as characters. Thing is, Agatha was amazing and the rest of the script rose to fit. Someone on the Who staff finally realized that Ten's strength is in being paired nonromantically with older women. (I don't think The Doctor's Daughter would have worked if Donna had been sidelined with the fish rather than Martha, and Rose would never have been able to handle it.)
Also, HAI THAR Rusty's Gay Agenda! I have no idea what purpose you served, other than maybe highlighting the FAMILY UV SEKRITS meme the episode had going on, but there it was. And it was pretty.
The "next time" trailer looks promising, especially combined with the bits of the same episode we get from the "second half" trailer I've found online. Not sure I'm onboard Rose with a BFG, but at the same time she does seem to be targeting her attention at Donna, which I enjoy. Hopefully she'll be "Moved the Fuck On" Rose and not "ZOMG Doctor <33333" Rose.
