Maybe Someone Else Noticed

So, as I was making the last pushpop my supplies would allow, I noticed something.

When did SunnyD become the official name of the drink? (Just like that, no space.) I mean, imagine coming across the drink for the first time (hard, I know), and seeing it written like that. How is it pronounced? The hell is the D for?

I mean, seriously. Knowing everyone just calls you Sunny D anyway is one thing, but renaming yourself SunnyD? For shame.

D = Delight

I know that, I'm just confused why they are purposefully naming themselves so that ours is the last generation to know.

Why remove the delight from your product? Are we supposed to worry that our childhood beverage has become depressed? I DON'T GET IT.

yah, I think they changed the name as soon as we became pubescent.

So a pushpop is what, just raspberry Bacardi and Sunny D(elight)? You've got me awfully curious...

And if we must trade secrets, did you know Kahlua and orange juice tastes like a Tootsie Roll?

It was raspberry Cruzan, actually,but considering that there's a wide range of the amount of rum where it still tastes deliciously like a Push Pop, the brand of rum likely makes little difference.

Also, who wants to drink a toostie roll?

Would coconut rum work? Because I just bought a bottle of the Cap'n the other day.

I wanna drink a Tootsie Roll.

Hot Apple Pie = (from left to right) cinnamon on the side of your hand, shot of nuked apple cider/juice, shot of spiced rum, whipped cream.
