My Power Rangers fic just passed 2000 words, you guys

And I've only gotten about a third of the way through my planned plot. Here's hoping it's a bit front-loaded on exposition, because I'm supposed to post it tomorrow. I mean, I've got an amnesty day Wednesday, but I know second_batgirl is going to have hers ready for tomorrow, and I want it to be a MMPRrific day on lbgtfest.

*sigh* Sometimes I'm not happy with my ability to discover new parts of my story as I'm writing, even if one of them did make a far better subplot than "Adam has a secret boyfriend in Angel Grove before moving there." I mean, it's not a bad plot/subplot, it's just not the best for this story.

Like I said, it's not a bad plot on it's own, it just really doesn't fit the fic I'm writing (which relies a lot on Adam's isolation at feeling like the only gay in the village), and another subplot I hadn't even planned on just fit itself in there kind of amazingly.

I may or may not write the secret boyfriend story. Depends on how much time I have, 'cause I'm going to have to start writing some original fiction here, soon, so I have a portfolio for grad school.
