So, someone on the Twilight Princess creative team is an Evangelion fan.
See, there's this cutscene after you restore the fourth spirit, where at one point this girl enters the frame, head first, from above, slowly spinning, and I'm all "Hey, that's like the Eva end credits!"
Then she passes off camera, and there's copy after copy after copy of her in the background and it was very "HOFUCK. REI."
