On West Egg

One: I am working at Cedar Point, in games. If you're going to be up in Sandusky at any point this summer, let me know, and I'll leyou know if I'll be working or if you managed to catch my day off that week. If you catch my day off, I'ma join you in the park for the funs, as well as to get you cheap food from the employee cafeteria.

Two: Through a strange and amusing sequence of events, my little brother now owes my mother three dollars for her Mother's Day gift.

So, I'm supposed to be in Philadelphia right now, but instead I'm back in Sandusky in an empty house, because the weather LOVES me and surrounded Piladelphia in non-abating fog, cancelling my flight and making the one that would still get me in on time tomorrow highly unlikely.

So I don't get to see my mom's side of the family this holiday season, because none of the family is going to make two trips to Philadelphia in as many weeks in order to have post-Christmas tehre like usual. Boo.

I'm here. I've been since noon, but I've been spending forever arranging and re-arranging the room so that access to putlets is as it should be. My roomate is still not here (sad). I'm about to go to dinner and meet some of my corridor peoples, so... byes.

I've already started preliminary packing... I haven't gone through my clothes at all, but I need to check what fits and all so I can go shoppings (not that I don't need to anyway, I mean I rand on basically four pairs of pants last winter, and I 'd rather not do that again), but I've got all my books fit into one crate(!) and my DVDs in a bookstore bag (hee), and I'm starting to group stuff, but I really don't want to start figuring out how I'm going to fit everything into my car yet.

Did I mention I have to fit everything in my car? Because my family won't be coming down to help me move in. Nope. Too much more effort for them after my brother's wedding, and tehy don't want to do all that driving the day after.

Because I move in the day after my brother's wedding. I move in Sunday, but I have to be packed up by Wednesday, 'cause that's when the family goes up to Canton to prepare for the wedding.

I am stressball.

I get to go to North Carolina for a week and conference and workshop Theatre of the Oppressed with awesome Walking Theatre Projectors, and you don't!

Leaving Oxford tomorrow at 8. Coming back to Oxford the 23rd. Home (sigh) the 24th.

(Oh, and I sighted Sarah Shepard today.)

Well... It sorta didn't matter wether my grandparents had an internet connection or not. NEver really had time to use it. ^_^

Thursday, family was coming all day, my grandma needed help in the kitchen (she started dinner before breakfast...), and I only get to see most of these people once a year.

Friday, I went and saw Harry Potter, after sleeping in until noon, and then I had to leave my grandparents. We had to stop at a wedding that was somewhat out of the way on our way home. I'm not sure why my whole family went, only my dad knew people there... And I just got home, so once I get settled, you'll hear more.

Just letting you know I'm here. ^_^

I'm going up to my grandparent's house up in New York today. My family goes there every Thanksgiving, and it's fun. My brothers and I get our birthday presents for the year from one of our uncles because he dicided not to try to remember our birthdays. Plus, that's where we read our Christmas lists to the rest of the family. This year, Escaflowne uncut dub tapes, Gamecube, and Taboo are definitely going to be on the list.

I should be there tonight. And they do have an internet connection, so I'll be able to update the blog while there.
