Re: Chrissie's last scene: DOES THIS MEAN SHE CAN KEEP SHOWING UP? PLZ TELL ME YES.
Also: Luke should probably have reacted more to the first permanent leaving of a friend in his life, shouldn't he? But he's that kind of going-to-be-hot-when-older that makes you feel dirty for noticing, even though you're not actually calling him hot now, so let's just move on to other things.
Like the fact that my summary lied and we got no new girl. Booooo. Although I guess the sudden replacement of a principle child actor should happen in the second story, the better to create tradition.
But seriously, Chrissie rocks.
As did the girl playing Luck, though I couldn't stop my mind from following "Where's Lucy?" with a deadpan "In the sky. With diamonds." *sigh*
The Sontaran kind of fizzled in the second half. They did a brilliant job of justifying why nobody died in a Sontaran episode, but the flat truth of it is that they shouldn't have given themselves a plot that made that justification necessary.
On the other hand, the fact that the Doctor just running off afterwards bollocksing things up for the people left behind being followed through with on another show was pretty epically awesome.
Next time: The new girl for reals this ti-CLOWNS. FUCK.
