My school needs Honors History. Badly.
The department head thinks that mixing honors and non-honors students will speed up the non-honors students.
It doesn't. At all. All it does is slow down the honors students and annnoy me when we get put into groups for projects.
For example, this past weekend I was working on a Powerpoint presentation as part of the classwork. We did them in groups. I did most of the work, willingly. I put together the presentation, and wrote out the notes to read as it was presented. OR at least I will. It's due next Monday.
In the class time we were given, one of the other group members actually worked. She found good websites for information on our topic, and maps. It was a big help. One of the other group members gave me a couple sentence fragments which I couldn't use, thinking he was helping. I don't even remember who the last member of my group is, he did so little. (Read: nothing)
How fun...
