I think I'm going to start copypasting my Xanga posts here so that Tril can "be witty" about them and I can mock his attempts at humor. Starting with...

So, at WTP today, I realize that I've never seen my parents really "being married," which is just a lovely thing to realize. Then, we have nearly made a final decision to do the next play on sexual assault (I say nealy because there were only seven or eight of all WTP members present, and it's really not fair of us to make that final say for everyone, but I personally am not expecting any sort of opposition to come up). Which... great thing to do, and I'm all for it, but it brought up some bad memories.

Some of these particular memories were quoted nearly verbatim by "How I Learned to Drive." Not a happy feeling at all. Great play, very well produced, but I came out of it in a shitty, shitty mood. I even had a breakdown as I crossed Cook Field, though it wasn't cathartic in the least because you really can't let go like you have to for catharsis if you're making sure you keep your ability to walk.

I had made vague plans (very vague) with Lizz Keo to go out tonight and take my mind off things, but... they fell through completely. Sofapunch had an awesome first set at Hole in the Wall (which is going to be renamed Studio 13, which... why change for that?), but it wasn't nearly enough to cheer me up, and then Lizz didn't show up and I haven't her phone number to make sure that she had, indeed said that she was planning on going to Zanny's, and where is her house again anyway?

So I wind up walking back from uptown alone, and dwelling some more on things I really needn't dwell on. And Julie is asleep, so I haven't anyone here for comfort. Bah.

WTP=Walking Theatre Project, a theatre of the oppressed-based, social change-making, kick-ass group on campus that is totally the love of my life.
