revieloutionneOkay, first things: Maria's dad is hot. So, in a different way, was the tour guide/failure of a hunter, but I kept thinking I've seen him in something else, except whatever it was wasn't British so probably not, which is a very distracting thing to think.
Anyway, while this is very much a show for kids, it isn't a kids' show. (Rather like the old Doctor Who, when you think about it...) I think it sets up the series rather nicely, although Kelsey is going to bug (as intended), and hopefully will come 'round sooner rather than later, because really, Scully-types don't really have a place in the Whoverse, and her continuing insistence that there are no aliens in the face of much more blatant proof than Scully ever got won't parse well for long.
Also, I do hope Mrs. Wormwood comes back; she's delightfully just over the top.
