revieloutionneSo, Tower Players is at the Phi Delt gates tonight giving baked goods to anyone who makes a donation to our Chicago trip, and I was up there from a bit after 8 until maybe 20 minutes ago. I was not overall cold until walking back up to my car, which was parked by Kofenya for lack of a closer spot.
Then I got fucking bone-chilled. It took a minute in Kofenya before I could use my fingers enough to get my wallet open with really poor motor skills. Then I took the cardboard sleeve off my drink and just held it for a while. My hands were burning and it was delicious. Then I actually started drinking the drink, and it was also delicious (the Cinnamon Roll latte. I reccommend!). I'm still haveing issues with fingers not wanting to move to type, and the rest of my joints are still a bit beyond stiff, and I've been indoors for some time.
But it was very worth it.
And I also auditioned for Tick Tick... BOOM, and I think that as auditions in my world go, it went very well, though I still have no idea how I actually sounded, as per usual. Besides, I would be thrilled to have one of the multi-charactered chorus parts, even if I don't get to sing, because character work > singing, always. And ivf I'm not in the show, well then I just have to suffer oh-so-horrendously through working tech under Laura and Lauren.
