Best thing ever: Opening a letter (from some place you never heard of but is from a Uni, so maybe important) and having a fiver fall out.
Free money!
Apparently, I did some survey about my beliefs and values my first year, and this is a follow up, and the fiver is incentive to take it (I would have anyway, 'cause I'm stupid like that sometimes).
Problem is, the survey is infuriating. After the first page of "what has your college career been like?" it's all about religion, and even though it gives space to answer for having none, it quite clearly expects anyone answering to be religious in some form.
Plus, there's the "Which of the following best characterizes your conception of or experience with God?" that doesn't give any negative answers (except, implicitly, in "none of the above"). Rather weighted, yes?
But hey, five bucks, and the opportunity to make sure that at least a bit of atheism shows up in their results.
