Why Do I Do These Things to Myself?

revieloutionneI just read through the entirety of the comments on the xkcd feed for the recent comic that illustrated the problem with Nice GuysTM. OMG WHY.
In other news, I've finished the three-parter that opened Turbo, and OHGOD THE NEW ALPHA. I had repressed that. So much fail.
And I have to LOL, because the show seems to be full getting the timeskip vibe I was about the movie - while all the non-Justin rangers "just graduated high school", they're excited for their new jobs, and Kat's going to be student teaching. There's not a program in the world lets you do that right out of high school.
And man, I'd heard the Sentai for this season was a self-parody (apparently the one before was "too dark"), but holy crap was what little we got from it in the first three episodes beyond ridiculous.
Points to the show for taking until the third episode of the season for any sentai footage to show up outside the title sequence, though.
