Well, the season certainly continues apace. Almost ahead of pace, really - things that would have been at least quarter-season arcs in a lot of shows (and I feel like even Heroes, in the past) are already resolving and moving on.
Granted, a lot of this is, I think, the combined effect of "go faster because Volume Two dragged" and "go faster because the strike created MASSIVE HIATUS and we don't want people to wait."
Unfortunately, no word on where Linderman came from, but I have hope it won't be too long.
Parkman's arc went absolutely nowhere, but at least it lasted, like, all of three minutes this episode, so that can be forgiven.
Better him than whatever it is that Mohinder has become. He was out-argued by Maya last week, people, we need small doses.
Sylar is... this will either go incredibly well, or die an entertainingly over-the-top, campy, narmtastic death, so I guess I'm okay with it either way. (And I'm not even talking about the family tree part.) The object history power is going to come into play somewhere (I thought it was going to be proving his lineage, but I guess not). Blatant Checkov setup.
I'm giving Tracy's arc breathing room for usefulness here, now that A) she's emphatically not Niki and B) they gave that info to us already. Also, Ali Larter is rocking the shit out of it. That said, we get our likely only stop by New Orleans this year and no Monica? SHENANIGANS. EPIC SHENANIGANS.
Other stuff happened. I liked it. It's technically probably as mindblowingly cracktastic as last eek, but I adapted already.
Also: Hiro continues to be FAILsauce, but at least it's consistent and intentional to the storyline, unlike some other characters' past/present stupid.
ONE MORE, VERY IMPORTANT THING: IF SANDRA DOESN'T GET TO KICK MEREDITH'S ASS AS WE ALL KNOW SHE CAN AND WANTS TO, HEADS WILL ROLL.
